1Who may use SheTu

You must be 18 or older to create a profile, and you must be legally free to marry. Every search on this site is bounded at 18 and cannot be pointed below it. Accounts we find to be under age are removed.

2Your profile is yours

You decide what is public, field by field. Photographs are hidden by default. A profile created for you by a relative stays invisible until you confirm it from your own phone; decline it and it is removed within 24 hours.

3What paying buys

A plan buys you reach — how many people you can approach, and how visible you are. It never buys somebody else’s contact details, at any price. Receiving and replying is free on every plan, including the free one.

4Contact details

Mobile numbers, email addresses and social handles are not profile fields and cannot be revealed through any privacy setting. A number becomes visible only through a contact exchange both people have agreed to. Messages are filtered for contact details in both directions until that happens.

5Guardians and matchmakers

A guardian can see progress and, if you allow it, introductions. A guardian can never read your messages, act on an interest, edit your profile, upload a photograph, or see anything from the dating side — at any permission level. A matchmaker can open your case only while you have given live consent, and withdrawing it ends their access immediately.

6Behaviour

No harassment, no impersonation, no requests for money, and no pressure to move off the platform. Every profile and conversation carries a report control. Blocking is silent in both directions — the other person is never told.

7Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, that we believe is fraudulent, or that puts other members at risk. Where we can do so safely, we will tell you why.

8What we do not promise

We do not promise that you will find a match, and we do not verify every claim a member makes about themselves. Verification badges show what has actually been checked — phone, government ID, selfie — and nothing more.
